What events does TDC participate in? Do you do any performances?
Transient Dance Collective participates in multiple events and performances throughout the school year. Please refer to our events page for more details.
When and where do you meet?
We meet weekly on Monday nights from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. We meet in Jowers B175.
Do you only do improv?
Our main focus is improvisation, but we enjoy exploring different facets of the arts.
Is there an audition? Are you dance-major exclusive? Does membership require training?
No, there is no audition, and we are open to all majors. You do not need to be a trained dancer to join us.
Are there membership fees?
Yes, membership fees of $20 are collected at the beginning of the fall semester. This payment covers the price of your t-shirt.
Do I have to attend every meeting?
Regular attendance is encouraged, as TDC participates in multiple performances throughout the year and we only meet once a week to practice. Attendance is addressed on a case-by-case basis.
